Hamilton Cove Elopement | Abigayle and Serge

High School sweethearts, Abby and Serge flew from Minneapolis, Minnesota to have their intimate elopement, just the two of them, here on Catalina Island. They stayed in the romantic Hamilton Cove Villas, a more private location on the island, with beautiful ocean views. Abby and Serge exchanged vows on a bluff surrounded by Eucalpytus trees, sun, and sea. To their right was Lover’s Cove, to their left the cozy harbor views of Avalon town reminiscent of a European riviera. After the vows we explored the island some more and finished our time in the botanical gardens, situated in the canyon filled with succulents of every kind. It was a truly special day for Abby and Serge, and I am continuously thankful to have been a part of it’s love and warmth.

Two Harbors Sunset Proposal | Max and Kendall

When Max reached out to me to help with his proposal to his sweetheart, Kendall, I was excited. His plan to whisk her away for a weekend to Two Harbors here on Catalina sounded all sorts of dreamy. Max put so much thought into this that he even began wearing a suit and tie to dinner prior to their trip as to not draw any suspicion to his suit and tie plans for the proposal that evening before dinner. I sat on a bench overlooking the ocean and patiently waited for them to walk by and enjoy their sunset walk. What unfolded was an evening of soft light, romance, and love. Max chose a beautiful spot to ask Kendall to marry him, and I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph it all.
